About the Project
Welcome
Hello, and welcome to March to the Garofalo! This website is the result of a project assigned in MUS 359 at Miami University, and is a part of the Garofalo Project initiative. The main goal of this website is to educate about how March to the Scaffold by Hector Berlioz can be used in the orchestra classroom. This website was compiled in the Spring Semester of 2022.

This website is broken into three main areas: The About pages, the Teacher Guide, and the Student Guide. You're currently on the About Project page, which serves as an introduction to the site. The Teacher Guide is the section of the site that outlines resources, assignments, and resources that can be used in structuring lesson plans for the centerpiece work, March to the Scaffold by Hector Berlioz. The Student Guide includes corresponding pages that are better suited for student engagement.
